Breathtaking views! This is a must visit in Istanbul. We had dinner as well, it was alright so nothing bind-blowing, but it is definitely worth to visit the maiden tower.

Beautiful view of both sides of the river part in which of turkey falling in Europe on one side and in Asia on the other side. Amazing surrounding and you will feel vibrant atmosphere all around. A must visit tourist destination

AVOID!!!!!! It's a rip-off. 600 Lira and it's totally empty inside. After the renovations, they removed the tower bar, no place to sit except outside, restaurant and souvenir stand is gone. Zero value. Do not waste your money.

The king, who was warned by a fortune teller that his daughter would die from a snake bite, had a tower built on the cliffs off Salacak. In order to protect his daughter, he placed her in the tower. The king would send food to his daughter in a basket at certain times of the day. One day there was a snake hidden in the fruit basket. The snake bit the king's daughter, poisoning her, resulting in her death.
